Candace Cameron Bure, the actress known for her role on “Full House,” recently discussed her family’s decision to leave Los Angeles. In an interview with Fox News Digital, Bure, aged 48, expressed that safety concerns prompted the move. “We didn’t feel safe anymore. And that was the biggest reason that we moved,” she explained.
The actress highlighted issues with privacy, noting that her home was not within a gated community and that they had faced several incidents with fans trespassing and compromising their privacy. “It’s amazing what people feel they can do,” Bure remarked. She confirmed the family’s relocation in a March Instagram post, citing security needs and changes in family dynamics as the main reasons. “The kids don’t live in Los Angeles anymore. Mama will go where they go! I travel a lot. The seasons of life,” she wrote.
Contrary to some speculation, Bure clarified that they did not relocate to Nashville or Texas but remained in California, relocating further north. “We’re no longer in Los Angeles,” she affirmed in the interview.
Candace and her husband, former Russian NHL hockey player Valeri Bure, have three adult children. As they navigate life as empty nesters, Bure emphasized the importance of keeping their marriage vibrant. “It’s about finding the new fun in our life and the things that we’re doing together or where we’re going to go and meeting new people and new friends,” she shared.
