There seems to be more than just a bit of jealousy in the remarks of a black WNBA player who claims the only reason superstar Caitlin Clark is so popular is because of her skin color.
In yet another example of the hostility toward white people that has been institutionalized in Joe Biden’s America, five-time All-Star Las Vegas Aces center A’ja Wilson dissed the dynamic young former University of Iowa player who has grabbed the attention of America with her dazzling play.

“I think it’s a huge thing. I think a lot of people may say it’s not about black and white, but to me, it is,” Wilson huffed to the Associated Press when asked about Clark’s popularity. “It really is because you can be top-notch at what you are as a black woman, but yet maybe that’s something that people don’t want to see.”
“They don’t see it as marketable, so it doesn’t matter how hard I work. It doesn’t matter what we all do as black women, we’re still going to be swept underneath the rug. That’s why it boils my blood when people say it’s not about race because it is,” she said, remarks oozing with the racial resentment that’s been sanctioned by political leaders, pro sports leagues and the media since the death of George Floyd four years ago.
Clark is a marketing gold mine for the WNBA, a league whose previous most recognizable face was dope-smoking, tattooed black lesbian Brittney Griner, a national anthem protester whose recent stay in a Russian prison taught her that maybe America isn’t quite so bad after all.
And it seems to be eating Wilson alive with envy as her racist remarks would seem to suggest.
X users whistled the WNBA star for a hard foul.
Yes, because in 2024 being white and checking zero other boxes is the most popular thing to be. What a joke.

Always playing the victim no matter how much fame or money they get. Truly disgusting.

They only hate her because she’s white

Caitlyn Clark’s appeal comes from the fact that she’s basically the female Steph Curry – who everyone was captivated by, especially early in his career. This kind of public commentary is pure jealousy and attention seeking.

I didn’t t realize having class, integrity, morals and a killer game was designated by your skin color! She’s popular bc she pocesses all the qualities moms/dads/grandparents want their girls to aspire to. instead of pulling the race card, these players do a self…

Just the racists showing us who they are again

She would be earning minimum wage in the WNBA, and flying Spirit if not for Caitlin

Athletic apparel colossus Nike just announced that Wilson would be getting her own signature shoe after she whined about Clark’s getting a $28 million endorsement deal, a sore spot that was the basis of the AP reporter’s question that spurred the racist reaction.
Clark’s incandescent play on the hardwood during her college career led the Hawkeyes to two consecutive NCAA championship games and captivated fans who have historically been cool on women’s basketball.
She was drafted number one overall in this year’s WNBA draft by the Indiana Fever and will get to go head-to-head with Wilson on the court to show the surly star that her game is much more than her skin color.
