Nearly three hours of conversation with BlazeTV’s Jason Whitlock came to something of an explosive end when Super Bowl champion and seven-time Pro Bowl wide receiver Antonio Brown was asked to opine on the White House resident. After the interview had covered matters like recent controversy with rookie WNBA player Caitlin Clark, COVID and Tom Brady, the one-time Pittsburgh Steeler cut to the chase about a viral video featuring President Joe Biden.
“Where are you at on the political spectrum? You’re not a fan of Joe Biden, or what?” asked Whitlock during the special edition of “Fearless.”
“Nah, I like Donald Trump,” replied Brown before the pivot. “I seen Joe Biden online, he was sh*ttin’ on himself and like falling all over. I’m like, ‘Yo, what’s going on with him?’”
Suggested brief mishaps weren’t the only signals the player pointed to when challenging the Democratic leader’s fitness for duty as he also brought up teleprompter troubles before telling Whitlock, “I’ve got a good political opinion. But you know…I want the world to be a better place. I feel like we probably could do better with Trump helping more businesses and coming back and taking over the 2024.”
Heading into the weekend, another video of Biden had gone viral showing first lady Jill Biden looking on as her 81-year-old husband stopped to hear questions from reporters outside the White House in a position that left commentators suggesting, “Every parent knows what that sudden, leg-spread stance means!”
Whitlock sought clarity from his guest on whether he truly believed the president had had an accident and was guided toward making an admission of his own on that front after Brown insisted, “That’s what the video showed. He was looking real sh*tty. I know we all make mistakes.”
“I just feel like, you know, the country, we need to do a better job. You know what I’m saying? With everything that’s been going: the pandemic, the shots, the — everything that’s been going,” he continued.
In 2021, while playing for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Brown and two others had been suspended three games over misrepresentation of their status with regard to COVID shots. His time playing alongside former quarterback Tom Brady came up as Whitlock asked the player had met former President Donald Trump or if that was even something he wanted.
“I met him on a phone call before where, I talked to him on the phone with Tom Brady one time. Yeah, he seemed like a cool guy,” explained the guest who was also asked about whether Brady was a fan of the GOP leader, “but can’t admit it.”
“Yeah, he probably definitely like but can’t. I can, though!” expressed Brown. “Shout out to Donald Trump!”
The former professional player also suggested that he and Whitlock should attend some events with Trump and on the idea of visiting Mar-a-Lago he said, “We’ll be the n***** of the day for that.”
