Remember when the GOP was furious that John Fetterman beat out Dr. Oz for the Pennsylvania Senate seat?
Well, it now appears that Senator Fetterman (D-PA) is a bigger problem for Democrats than he is for Republicans.
Fetterman just crossed the Democrats again, this time over squatters’ rights.
Mine for the Taking
There has been a big rush of incidents around the country of squatters taking over people’s homes.
We are seeing people show up at their summer homes or vacant rental properties only to find that someone has been living in them and are now refusing to leave due to squatters’ rights in certain states.
Most would think that Fetterman, being a liberal, would support this, but he is on the opposite end of this issue that is gaining a lot of steam around the country.
On this issue, Fetterman was very clear…
“Squatters have no rights.
“How can you even pretend that this is anything other than you’re just breaking the law?
“It’s wild that if you go away on a long trip, for 30 days, and someone breaks into your home and suddenly they have rights.
“This is crazy. Like if somebody stole your car, and then they held it for 30 days, then somehow you now have some rights?”
Fetterman has also resisted this ridiculous movement among Democrats in Congress, which includes Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.), to have PM Netanyahu removed from power as well as a cease-fire with Hamas.
Fetterman is one of the few Democrats who believe Hamas must be ended, period, before this war moves to a cease-fire.
The funny thing in all of this is that Fetterman was the golden boy of the party when he was elected; now, he is a thorn in Joe Biden’s side.
I am just curious to see how this will play out when Fetterman runs for re-election. Will Democrats back him or will they primary him for a “yes” man.
