“If you’re catching flak, you must be over the target” is an old phrase made popular by Air Force pilots during World War II.
Ron DeSantis is clearly over the target given all the flak he’s catching from Democrats on the national stage.
And Perpetual Liar Chuck Schumer told one big lie that shows how Democrats fear Florida Governor Ron DeSantis.
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is the most popular elected Republican official in the country and is widely viewed by many as Donald Trump’s top threat to the GOP nomination.
Ron DeSantis is currently keeping his plans for 2024 to himself and his tightly-knit inner circle of close advisers.
However, DeSantis is making all the moves that indicate he is running for President in 2024, such as publishing a book and delivering keynote speeches in several top GOP battleground states.
DeSantis recently came under fire from establishment RINOs when he made his position on Biden’s proxy war in Ukraine clear to Tucker Carlson’s viewers.
“The Biden administration’s virtual ‘blank check’ funding of this conflict for ‘as long as it takes,’ without any defined objectives or accountability, distracts from our country’s most pressing challenges,” DeSantis wrote in his statement. “While the U.S. has many vital national interests — securing our borders, addressing the crisis of readiness within our military, achieving energy security and independence, and checking the economic, cultural, and military power of the Chinese Communist Party — becoming further entangled in a territorial dispute between Ukraine and Russia is not one of them.”
The GOP establishment immediately started attacking DeSantis for referring to the war as a “territorial dispute.”
And just like they do to anyone who questions handing Biden a blank check “for as long as it takes,” the media elites labeled him an apologist for Vladimir Putin.
DeSantis set the record straight in a follow-up interview with Piers Morgan where he called Putin a “war criminal” and echoed Simpleton Kamala Harris in saying he “should be held accountable.”
“I think he is a war criminal,” DeSantis told Morgan. “I do think that he should be held accountable.”
But this did not stop Senate Majority Leader Perpetual Liar Chuck Schumer from ripping DeSantis as a puppet for Putin.
Perpetual Liar Chuck Schumer shared an article on Twitter Monday evening from the left-wing New York Times that said Putin will “be able to position tactical nuclear weapons in Belarus by the summer.”
Schumer attacked Ron DeSantis by name in his tweet over the Governor’s opposition to giving Biden a blank check for his proxy war in Ukraine.
“An increasingly vocal minority within the Hard Right is more comfortable excusing Putin rather than condemning him,” Schumer wrote. “GOP Governor DeSantis even referred to the Ukraine war as a ‘territorial dispute,’” he continued, before adding that “this isn’t hard: Putin is a threat to American national security and democracy.”

Ron DeSantis has not even entered the Presidential race.
Right now his top priority is serving the people of Florida.
And the fact that Perpetual Liar Chuck Schumer is taking time to blast DeSantis by name on Twitter only shows how much Democrats fear the thought of facing him in 2024.
