Florida Governor Ron DeSantis said the Sunshine State is where woke goes to die.

DeSantis intends to make good on that boast.

And now Ron DeSantis is about to drive the final nail in the woke mob’s coffin with one big change.

Governor DeSantis initially drew the ire of the woke Left by signing a piece of legislation that banned teachers from grooming students in grades K through 3 into transgenderism with sexually inappropriate lesson plans.

Pandemic era school closures allowed parents to see the filth left-wing activists used in the classroom to indoctrinate their children.

Many of them were appalled by what they saw.

DeSantis took action banning sexually explicit lesson plans designed to recruit young children into transgenderism.

The woke Left tried to derail the bill by enlisting Disney to pressure DeSantis into scuttling the legislation.

But not only did DeSantis sign the bill as promised, but DeSantis also signed additional legislation stripping Disney of its special governing privileges for getting involved in a political fight it didn’t belong in.

Some parents wondered why Florida only stopped teachers in grades K through 3 from indoctrinating their children into transgenderism with gender identity insanity.

With the victory over Disney in hand, DeSantis is now addressing those concerns as the administration is now pushing a new rule change that would ban grooming children in all grades in Florida schools into transgenderism.

“For grades 4 through 12, instruction on sexual orientation or gender identity is prohibited unless such instruction is either expressly required by state academic standards . . . or is part of a reproductive health course or health lesson for which a student’s parent has the option to have his or her student not attend,” the new proposed rule reads.

Additionally, another bill is working its way through the legislature that would ban teachers from brainwashing children on using alternate pronouns and would establish Florida education standards as defining sex based on reproductive organs and banish the idea that men can pretend to be women and vice versa.

“A separate Florida bill, HB 1223, aims to bar instruction on sexual orientation and gender identity from pre-k through the eighth grade and would effectively restrict preferred pronoun usage in public schools, defining ‘sex’ as ‘the binary division of individuals based upon reproductive function,’” Fox News reports.

Governor DeSantis declared war on woke.

And DeSantis is determined to see this war through to victory.
