Russia is not responding well to Vladimir Putin being charged with war crimes.
The International Criminal Court (ICC) issued a warrant for Putin’s arrest earlier in the week.
After that was reported, Dmitry Medvedev, the Deputy Chairman of Russia’s Security Council and former president, hinted that a missile could soon fall from the sky, reports the New York Post.
Watch the Skies
Medvedev is hardline Putin loyalist, so his reaction was not surprising.
He stated, “I’m afraid, gentlemen, everyone is answerable to God and missiles.” He added, “It’s quite possible to imagine how a hypersonic Oniks fired from a Russian warship in the North Sea strikes the court building in the Hague. It can’t be shot down, I’m afraid.”
The warrant for Putin was issued on Friday, claiming that he was “responsible for the war crime of unlawful deportation of population (children) and that of unlawful transfer of population (children) from occupied areas of Ukraine to the Russian Federation.”
He also suggested what the authorities could do with their warrant…
The International Criminal Court has issued an arrest warrant against Vladimir Putin. No need to explain WHERE this paper should be used🧻.

There was also a warrant issued for Maria Alekseyevna Lvova-Belova, the Commissioner for Children’s Rights in the Office of the President of the Russian Federation, reports Fox News.
Russia does not recognize the ICC, which his not exactly a surprise, but Putin better be careful about leaving the safe confines of Russia.
There is no doubt that Putin has committed war crimes. The man has been targeting civilians with military strikes almost from the outset of this war.
Medvedev is no stranger to outrageous claims, predicting that civil war will break out this year in the United States as well as stating that if Russia loses a conventional war, the nuclear option is very much on the table.
