Alec Baldwin is about to go on trial for the murder of the “Rust” cinematographer.
The man has always had a short temper when approached in public, but he may have just gotten himself into more hot water.
An anti-Israel antagonist approached Baldwin while he was getting coffee, with Baldwin eventually smacking her phone out of her hand.
Assault?
This is a really interesting case because the woman was clearly harassing Baldwin, but at the same time, we all know how things work these days.
Setting this up, Baldwin was at a local coffee shop when a loud-mouthed woman came in and started harassing him about the death of his cinematographer as well as Israel.
Baldwin had asked the coffee shop to call the cops, then he tried to get the woman to leave on his own.
When she would not let up, Baldwin was getting more and more agitated.
At one point, you can see the rage on his face, but he almost managed to contain himself.
After a full minute of incessant banter, Baldwin took a swipe at her camera, which she framed as an assault, but how much is too much?
Here is the video of the incident…
Now, I am no fan of Baldwin, but at the same time, I am also not a fan of harassing people during “their” time.
If Baldwin was making a formal public appearance, go for it, but not in this setting.
As a comparison, if I were to see Joe Biden on the beach with his family, I would not say a word to him. However, if he was at a public event, I would let it fly, throwing about 100 questions I would love to have him answer at him.
I don’t know how all this will play out for Baldwin, but I would have to imagine it will not be good knowing the current state of wokeness in this country.
