1. Dramatic moment Russian SU-35 fighter jet intercepts two US B-52 nuclear bombers over Baltic Sea days after downing of American Reaper drone
Dailymail–This is the dramatic moment a Russian fighter jet intercepted a pair of US nuclear bombers over the Baltic Sea, just days after an American drone was downed.
Russia’s defence ministry said a single Su-35 was scrambled to meet the B-52 strategic bombers that were flying in the direction of the Russian border on Monday, but that it returned to base after they moved away.
The development came as Moscow said it had flown two of its own nuclear bombers over the Sea of Japan for more than seven hours, in a statement released as Japan’s prime minister was beginning a surprise visit to Ukraine – and as China’s premier Xi Jinping continues his own visit to Moscow.

Ryan Lynch: We either need to get our military assets out or prevent Russia from toying with the U.S. military. All it takes is one mistake or ‘accident’ to start WW3.
2. Putin, Xi discuss Chinese peace proposal for Ukraine as US denounces visit
Reuters–March 21 (Reuters) – Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese leader Xi Jinping discussed Beijing’s proposal for a ceasefire in Ukraine during a first day of talks in Moscow and they were meeting again on Tuesday, the Kremlin said.
Xi’s visit is a boost to Moscow as it struggles to make ground in its year-long war on Ukraine. But it was criticised by Washington as providing “diplomatic cover” for Putin and for the war crimes his forces are accused of committing there.
While China has sought to cast itself as a potential peace-maker in the conflict, the visit underlined an ever-closer relationship between Moscow and Beijing and their challenge to the West.

Ryan Lynch: All China needs to do now is broker peace between Ukraine and Russia. If that happens, the world will lose immense respect for the United States. Further weakening our support around the globe. It’s already happening in Latin America and the Middle East.
3. California Could Use ‘Backdoor’ To Kickstart The End Of Diesel Trucks In The US, Experts Say
DailyCaller–California’s proposed rules to dramatically limit emissions from heavy-duty vehicles could effectively result in a nationwide ban on the sale of new diesel-powered heavy-duty vehicles, thanks to a “backdoor” in the Clean Air Act, experts told the Daily Caller News Foundation Monday.
The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) will approve California’s proposed rules, which would obligate all new heavy-duty vehicles — including shipping trucks and delivery vans — sold in the state after 2045 be fully electric or hydrogen-powered, The Washington Post reported Monday, citing three individuals familiar with the agency’s plans. New York, New Jersey, Oregon, Massachusetts, Washington and Vermont have all committed to following California’s lead on this issue, a move which experts told the DCNF was tantamount to a nationwide ban. “It’s a way to backdoor allow — under the auspices of the Clean Air Act — for California that set standards for the U.S.,” Dan Kish, senior fellow at the Institute for Energy Research, said to the DCNF.
Ryan Lynch: What a great way to further further destroy their state economy. Do these liberals ever learn?
4. Squatters torment homeowners across US with no resolution in sight: ‘It’s a problem’
FoxNews–Homeowners across the country tormented by squatters find themselves tied up in lengthy and expensive legal battles to get control of their properties back – and one expert warns many others can find themselves victims.
Real estate lawyer Jim Burling told Fox News Digital that any home unoccupied for a stretch can be a target of squatters.
“I think it’s a fairly big problem and I think it’s pretty hard to avoid,” said Burling, who is vice president of litigation for Pacific Legal Foundation. Burling said squatters took over a neighbor’s home after the owner died and eventually had to be removed by police.
Ryan Lynch: People can’t afford to rent these homes; squatting will turn into a crisis everywhere in the country.
5. Howard Stern: Jon Stewart Would Win Presidency ‘In a Slam Dunk’
Breitbart–Radio shock jock Howard Stern believes former Daily Show host Jon Stewart would win the presidency “in a slam dunk” if he were to run.
Stern, who has floated the idea of running in the past, urged Stewart to run during an episode of his SiriusXM show this week.
Stern then compared Stewart to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, who himself was comedian before ascending to political power. He also cited Stewart’s impassioned defense of 9/11 first responders.
Ryan Lynch: More like a slam dunk into bankruptcy.
