I regret to inform you that Dylan Mulvaney posted yet another bizarre TikTok. And we must discuss it because this one got even weirder.
Dylan posted this video role-playing as Eloise. If you aren’t familiar with the movie, it’s based on a series of children’s books about a 6-year-old who lives at The Plaza Hotel in New York City. It was one of my personal favorites as a child, and it’s apparently still one of Dylan’s favorites now.

Full disclosure, I really dislike our current culture of people uploading things on the internet and other people commenting on and critiquing such things. This one, however, struck a nerve, and I think we have to get serious for a sec. I know, I know. But this is not normal behavior from any adult. It’s make-believe. A form of escapism. Something tells me Dylan really doesn’t want to exist in reality, and there’s probably something that happened in their life that led to these various methods of escaping said reality.
It reminds me of this Heritage Foundation interview with Walt Heyer, a de-transitioned man who lived for eight years as a woman. He now helps other people who want to de-transition. He said over 50% of the people he has worked with have been sexually abused, and they see transitioning as the only way to protect themselves from further abuse. One question Heyer asks is, “Tell me what caused you to not want to be who you are?” And they always have an answer.
So while it’s annoying how Dylan and other trans people make a mockery of what it really means to be a woman, I can’t help but wonder why they have chosen such a life. There’s probably something that made them no longer want to be themselves, as Heyer said. And perhaps conservatives need to start offering solutions and alternatives to transitioning, like counseling and therapy. These people need help instead of condemnation. Many of them won’t accept the help offered to them. That doesn’t mean it isn’t worth trying.
