Representative Lauren Boebert (R-CO) stated that Democrats are trying to arrest former President Donald Trump because it is their “only hope” of winning the 2024 presidential election.
In a Twitter post, Boebert claimed “It is ridiculous that Hillary Clinton and others walk around without a care in the world while President Trump is put through hell on earth. The Democrats know they won’t be able to beat our ideas at the ballot box in 2024 so think this is their only hope.”
Unfortunately for Democrats, their plan to arrest Trump has angered Americans while boosting Trump’s public profile to heights not seen since his 2016 presidential campaign.
House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) has also argued that Trump’s imminent arrest is “an outrageous abuse of power” and “politically motivated.”
Considering the political factors of the case against Donald Trump, it is undeniable that Trump’s arrest is anything more than a political hit job designed to try and take out a frontrunner for the presidency.
Democrats have already gone too far and Trump is now more popular than ever while Americans are angry and ready to vote President Joe Biden out of office.
