If you weren’t tired of special counsels, buckle up because we are in for more investigations against the Trump family. Only time will tell if this is just a ploy or if there are legitimate issues regarding the Trump children and their spouses.
In this new turn of events, special counsel Jack Smith has served Ivanka Trump and her husband, Jared Kushner, with subpoenas. The legal action is over the ongoing probe of January 6, 2021, incident. A protest that included thousands of Americans across the country over the 2020 election. Obviously, the swamp isn’t over former President Donald Trump‘s efforts to challenge the results of the 2020 election.

At this time it remains unclear what information Smith is seeking from the pair. However, both served as key advisors to Donald Trump during his official tenure as the 45th president of the United States.
Outlets have. been vague over the news of the subpoenas. Even the New York Times, who first reported on the subpoenas, only cited that “two people briefed on the matter.”

Leftest Biden appointed Attorney General, Merrick Garland, hired Smith to handle the DOJ’s investigations into Trump-related. Merrick Garland only appointed this investigation after the former president announced his campaign to return to office in 2024.
Smith has also subpoenaed former Vice President Mike Pence. The once loyal VP ended ties with Trump on a sore note when he didn’t follow suit in questioning the election results. However, he has indicated plans to fight the special counsel’s demands.
