Luiza Rozova, who is believed to be the secret love child of Russian President Vladimir Putin, has been out of the public eye for over a year, and there is growing speculation over what has happened to her. 

The 20-year-old was generally once active on social media and was a regular DJ, has vanished – almost without a trace.

Some experts believe that Putin’s Federal Protective Service (FPS) is keeping her away from the limelight, leading to rumors that the Russian government has issued a gag order.

In a 2012 interview with a Russian magazine, Luiza spoke about her relationship with her mother and the rest of her family, saying that she was raised by her grandmother and had a close, trusting relationship with her mother. 

Luiza’s mother, Svetlana Krivonogikh, once a cleaner is now one of Russia’s wealthiest women. She owns shares in a prominent Russian bank and a striptease nightclub. 

Krivonogikh reportedly also owns a $3.7 million home in Monaco, a lavish apartment in St. Petersburg, and a private yacht.

Although Luiza has been seen in Paris and is believed to occasionally live in Monaco, there are no indications of how much travel she has done since the war began. 

Luiza’s disappearance from social media coincided with the start of the war, and her accounts have either become inactive or closed.

Prior to her disappearance, Luiza was often seen in photos with wealthy friends, but she no longer publicly posts on her 84,000 following accounts and while these friends continue to travel the world, there are no pictures of her included in their shoots, per Forbes.

It is unclear whether Luiza is being restricted by the government due to safety concerns and whether it is a protocol for moving Putin’s daughter out from the public eye.
