Opting for a getaway under threat of attack, escalation ushered America’s beach bum-in-chief back to the White House while facing a timely troll from his rival.
For no less than a week, President Joe Biden’s administration acknowledged that the United States and Israel were aware of the intent of Iran to launch a “significant” attack against one or both of the Western allies.
Despite assurances that he had spoken with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu about the threats, and claims that the United States “fully supports the defense of Israel against threats from Iran,” Biden departed for his Delaware beach house Friday evening and found himself having to return Saturday when an attack of over 300 drones and missiles were launched by Iran targeting the Jewish state, as detailed by Israel Defense Forces (IDF) spokesman Rear Adm. Daniel Hagari.
The sight of the octogenarian White House incumbent cutting short his weekend when he reportedly knew full well the situation in the Middle East sparked ire on social media, including from Fox News Contributor Joe Concha who suggested, “Any commander-in-chief remotely serious about his job would’ve never left the White House knowing what he knew in terms of imminent attack on Israel by Iran.”
“What a complete utter embarrassment.”

As the attack, which would be nearly entirely fended off by the area’s defenses, remained incoming, former President Donald Trump propped up his record in peace-keeping against the growing conflicts under his expected 2024 presidential opponent to assert, “ISRAEL IS UNDER ATTACK! This should never have been allowed to happen — This would NEVER have happened if I were President!”
Ahead of a rally in Pennsylvania’s Lehigh Valley, Trump continued to pepper the sitting administration with jabs at Biden’s ineptitude, including a suggestion that a forthcoming address would be taped instead of live.
When the White House had indicated a lid had been called and public remarks from the president would not come sooner than Sunday — a point that forced a retraction from CNN — the GOP leader sounded off with another dig taking credit for the delay.
“AFTER READING MY TRUTH, BIDEN’S HANDLERS CONVINCED HIM NOT TO RELEASE HIS TAPED SPEECH ON ISRAEL. HE’LL NOW ATTEMPT TO DO IT LIVE, PROBABLY TOMORROW,” wrote Trump on Truth Social. “HE DOESN’T WANT TO LEAVE HIS HOUSE, WITH THE CORVETTE, IN DELAWARE!!!”
He also included his social media commentary as cause for Biden’s early departure from Delaware, and posted, “Due to universal outrage, and my TRUTH, Crooked Joe Biden has been forced to go back to the White House tonight, instead of tomorrow. Good!”

As the latest foreign policy failure from the Biden administration threatened even greater conflict than the two wars that have commenced under his watch, Trump’s assertion on “universal outrage” was widely witnessed and perhaps best encapsulated by Chris Loesch, husband to syndicated radio host Dana Loesch, who wrote, “The first thing we should do is keep Biden at the beach.”

Joe Biden is the only President in history we paid to go on vacation. I’ll chip in a few bucks to make it permanent.

That’s the damn truth.
