WATCH: Expert Slams Biden Family For Corrupt Foreign Business Dealings – ‘They Gave This Money For A Reason’

On Monday, Peter Schweizer of the Government Accountability Institute joined Fox News’ Steve Hilton to discuss Hunter Biden’s foreign business dealings as well as his relationship with Communist China.

When asked about the possibility that taxpayer money went directly to Burisma when Biden was overseeing America’s policy to the country, the host asked if that would be “cut and dry corruption.”

“I think it is Steve, you’re absolutely right. And let’s be clear, it is not a sufficient defense politically or legally for a politician to say, well my family got money but I would have made that same decision even if they had not received the money,” he answered. “That is not a sufficient answer. For Joe Biden to say ‘Oh I would have supported the Ukrainian gas industry anyway,’ simply does not cut it.”

“The timing is very clear to me. Let’s remember, Joe Biden became the point person on Ukraine policy from Barack Obama after Vladimir Putin invaded Ukraine in February 2014,” he continued. “Within three weeks of that appointment, his son is put on the board of Burisma with no experience in energy, Ukrainian policy, or anything.”

“It is clear that millions and millions of taxpayer dollars did go to Burisma,” he stated. “Here’s the problem. One of those investors in Burisma that received that fund is a gentleman named Kolomoisky who is a Ukrainian oligarch. He was the chief financial backer of the current president of Ukraine and that would be Mr. Zelensky.”

Then when asked what House Republicans should be focused on now that they have the ability to conduct investigations, Schweizer stated that Communist China should be a number one priority, as reported by Breitbart.

“I would focus primarily on Communist China because this is truly frightening — and I don’t say that lightly,” he said. “We know based on the laptop, the emails, the U.S. Treasury Department suspicious activity report reports that have been released that the Bidens have received some $31 million from Chinese entities. When you look at the businessman that may that happen — that made those deals happen, Steve, all of them have links to the highest levels of Chinese intelligence.”

Schweizer then outlined how Biden’s Chinese connections allowed Hunter Biden to get into a Chinese investment firm thanks to individuals who have ties to the Chinese intelligence agencies.

“The bottom line is all the money that Hunter Biden and the Biden family received out of Communist China came from individuals with ties to the highest level of Chinese intelligence, and there’s no discernible business service that Hunter Biden performed for any of that money.”

“Imagine during the Cold War, Jimmy Carter or Ronald Reagan’s kids were doing business deals with Russian businessmen linked to the KGB, would their defense be, ‘hey, there’s nothing illegal about it,’” he said. “We need to know why this foreign money, whether it was from Ukraine, Communist China, or Russia, found its way to the Bidens…They gave them this money for a reason and we need to find out what it was.”
