“If you ain’t afraid of anything, a band of angry exes should be enough to keep you on your toes.”
Apparently, the prosecution team managed to clinch Hunter Biden’s ex-girlfriends to testify on his tax evasion and gun charges trial.
Among them were Kathleen Buhle, Zoe Kestan, and the wife of his deceased brother, Beau, Hallie Biden.
If proven guilty, he could face jail time for 25 years.
Although the court filing did not drop names, the description for Witness 1 was, “Witness 1 was previously married to the defendant,” and told the prosecutors that “she would check his vehicle from time to time because she did not want their children in a vehicle with drugs.”
Court filings described Witness 3 as someone who “was in a romantic relationship with the defendant in October 2018, and before and after.”
It also described another witness who was “previously in a romantic relationship with Hunter,” and could testify that Joe Biden’s son is using “crack cocaine frequently-every 20 minutes except when he slept.”
One ex-lover with whom Hunter had a relationship in October 2018 also noted that in a bid to keep him sober, she and her children used to scour his belongings and vehicles to take out drugs and paraphernalia.
Buhle, meanwhile, also noted that she found drugs and drug paraphernalia “about a dozen times” while going over his vehicle.
In one text message dated March 9, 2018, Buhle told his ex-husband, “I also found a few crack pipes. I took them out because our daughter was driving the car.”
These witnesses will help build grounds that Hunter was a helpless drug addict and he lied when he purchased a gun on October 23, 2018, and falsely answered a form asking if he was not an “unlawful user or addicted to any drugs.”
Lying upon his purchase allowed Biden to acquire a gun, a speedloader, an accessory that speeds up ammo reloading, and 25 rounds of ammunition.
The prosecution also intends to present photographs and video clips of Hunter’s alcoholism and drug addiction during the hearing.
The president’s son’s trial will start on June 3 after the appeals court denied his appeal to reset the hearing because the defense team is not ready.
According to the judge presiding over the case, his trial will last nine days.
The trial for his tax evasion case in California will be on June 20.
Federal prosecutors found the younger Biden scheming to escape the $1.4 million taxes he owed the IRS from 2016 to 2019 and instead splurged it on alcohol and drugs.
Hunter could’ve escaped these investigations had the “sweetheart deal” he clinched with the special counsel pushed through. However, the judge who is supposed to approve it, questioned the motion, allowing his case to push through.
