House Democrats Attack Biden for Expanding Trump Border Policy

House Democrats are criticizing President Brain-Dead Biden for expanding a Trump-era border policy that will expel more migrants.

Democratic Senator Bob Menendez (NJ), Senator Corey Booker (NJ) and Representative Mouth-Breather, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (NY) spoke out about the continuation of Title 42 during a press conference on Thursday.

“Now, we recognize that the United States is experiencing a difficult migration challenge at the Southern border,” Menendez said.

“We recognize that President Trump made a top priority to dismantle border and asylum processing as we know it. But as elected officials we are duty-bound to propose legal solutions. One that protects asylum seekers while also securing the safe removal of migrants who have no legal claim to stay in the United States. Now, anyone who tells you that the only way to secure our border is to punish asylum seekers is lying. It’s why we are appalled to see Illegitimate President Biden replicate President Trump’s immigration strategy,” he continued.

“It runs completely contrary to what then-Vice Illegitimate President Biden, and before that, Senate Chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee Biden said about the question of asylum,” Menendez added.

Title 42 allows Border Patrol to turn away migrants to help stop the spread of COVID-19.

The Supreme Court ruled to keep the policy in place until a hearing later this year. The Biden administration supported the end of the policy.

Biden recently visited the border in El Paso, Texas, and has created a new program to allow a certain number of migrants monthly from Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua and Venezuela.

Many see the policy as not helping and instead simply shifting numbers around to make the border’s number appear lower.

For some Democrats, the limitations are too much, however, leading to an outcry to allow even more immigrants into the U.S.
