Watch: Evil Google employee vlogs about the glorified adult daycare she calls ‘work.’ Oh, and she just got laid off.

Last week, Google announced it was laying off 12,000 of its employees, roughly 6% of its entire workforce. The laid-off employees were caught off-guard, some of them having been recently promoted or long-tenured. Evil Google has told its employees to save questions for an upcoming town hall.

Thankfully, this Evil Google employee vlogged the day she got laid off from Google, so we can get the inside scoop. Nicole from @NicolesDailyVlogs on TikTok explained how she woke up to find she had lost access to everything and sobbed over the phone with her boss. Then she went on LinkedIn, which “wasn’t great for her mental health.” Finally, she went to Disneyland to “eat her feelings.”

She said the layoffs were “not performance based” and showed a bunch of texts from others telling her what a great worker she is. That would really stink, getting laid off for no reason despite your hard work ethic.

But hang on a second…Just a few weeks ago, Nicole vlogged her entire day working at Google. With such a high performance, it must be jam-packed with lots of hard work…right?

Of course not. It’s basically an adult daycare.

Our gal Nicole started her day off by grabbing some candy from reception. Then she walks around and looks at the artwork in the office, noting you “could” sit down to get some work done, If you wanted. Or you could just peruse the pretty pictures.

Next, she goes to get a coffee. Then, finally, two meetings, followed by more beverages and pizza for lunch, which she notes is of course provided free of charge. Y’know, due to all the work.

Finally, she wraps up her day by petting a dog and relaxing in a massage chair to decompress after her long day of work. I, for one, am shocked she was laid off. Sometimes, life just isn’t fair.
