Bank of America (BofA) announced Monday the passing of Leo Lukenas III, a 35-year-old investment banker and former Green Beret, sparking shock online.
The Daily Mail reported in an exclusive that the New York Office of the Chief Medical Examiner stated that Lukenas, a married Brooklyn resident and father of two, succumbed to natural causes last Thursday.
“Doesn’t sound like natural causes to me,” one user lamented on X following the news.
The office stated Lukenas died from “acute coronary artery thrombus,” a condition wherein a blood clot develops inside a blood vessel of the heart.
Lukenas’ stepmother conveyed to the Daily Mail that the family was “devastated” by his loss.
BofA expressed, “Our focus is on doing whatever we can to support the family and our team, who is devastated.”
A source familiar with the situation said that the associate was a member of the financial institutions group (FIG) team, which advises bank clients on deals.
Lukenas was also a former member of the US Green Beret special forces. He began working at BofA just over a year ago.
A donation page was opened on Tuesday in his honor with a goal of raising $1,000,000.
The page reads: “Leo Lukenas was a son, brother, husband, Green Beret, and most importantly, a father. He spent over a decade in Army Special Operations, deploying multiple times with 1st Special Forces Group.”
“Leo was dedicated to everything he did, never settling for good enough. He always set the example and held himself to the highest standards, prioritizing the team and mission success over himself. With the heart of a lion, Leo always fought to defend what was right,” it adds.
“Leo transitioned out of the military to pursue new opportunities for his family,” it continues. “Now, in remembrance of Leo, it’s our duty to support his family just like he would have done for all of us.”
Users on X swiftly weighed in on the story, speculating about Lukenas’ cause of death.
“Another who died suddenly. No mention of Covid-19 vax status. The obfuscation lives on,” one user wrote.
“I’m sorry but dying at 35 from a blood clot in your lungs is NOT dying of natural causes,” another lamented.
“Is it normal for a 36-year-old former Green Beret to die of ‘acute coronary artery thrombus’ or could it be linked to a jab forced on everyone by the Biden Administration?” questioned one account. “Anyone keeping track of these very unnatural deaths and finding ways to prevent’em?
“Acute coronary artery thrombus. Could be any reason, but. Why aren’t people connecting the dots,” wondered another.
An account by the name Excess Deaths, who documents vaccine injuries, also speculated that Lukenas’ death could have stemmed from the COVID shot and not “natural causes.”
The account included the hashtags “diedsuddenly” and “clotshot.”
