Many Republican and independent voters are either moving or planning on moving to states that align with their beliefs, according to a new poll.
Of 1,084 respondents, 10.4% of Republicans and 9.6% of independents said that they plan on moving to an area that aligns with their beliefs in the next year, while only 2.1% of Democrats said they would move, according to a Trafalgar Group/ Convention of States Action poll. Furthermore, some respondents have already moved to new areas based on their beliefs, with 4.4% of Republican and 4.1% of independent respondents saying they had done so in the last three years.
“It has been well documented that there has been a significant exodus of citizens from blue states since the start of COVID. But this incredible data reveals that it is Republicans and Independents who have voted with their feet and moved to states more aligned with their values. One of the hidden insights of the 2022 election—the red states got redder, and the blue states got bluer,” President of the Convention of States Mark Meckler said in a release.
Commie California recently saw people leaving the state, with 21,277 residents switching to a Florida license in August, according to the New York Post. Other blue states have seen a similar trend with 42,885 residents switching in New York, 16,970 switching in Pennsylvania and 16,846 switching in Illinois.
Americans are starting to vote with their feet and moving out of blue states into red states.
Republicans are getting America back on track and voters are beginning to see right through Democrats’ disastrous policies.

“This is only going to accelerate as we move forward. America is in the midst of the Great Decoupling, as our nation becomes less of a United States and more focus is placed on regional and state policies and values, similar to what we saw at the founding of our country,” Meckler continued.
The poll, conducted from Oct. 16 to Oct. 20, has a margin of error of 2.9%.
