Recent research from Raba Research indicates that former president Donald Trump leads vice president Joe Biden in the pivotal state of Arizona, as Breitbart News reports.
The survey asked respondents, “Suppose the election for President were held today – for whom would you vote? Democrat Joe Biden or Republican Donald Trump?”
Among all respondents, 39% indicated they would back Trump, with 36% giving their support to Biden. Another 15% responded “someone else,” while 10% are still undecided. Put another way, there is still an opportunity to claim a quarter.

The poll also finds that Democratic Rep. Ruben Gallego (R-AZ) and Trump supporter Kari Lake are in a close contest for the Senate, with a margin of only a few percentage points:

The survey was taken March 28-31, 2024, among 503 voters in Arizona, and it has a +/- 4.4 percent margin of error.
This poll is in line with others that have come out recently showing that Trump is closing the gap with Biden or even surpassing him in numerous crucial swing states around the country.
As an illustration, the most recent Wall Street Journal survey that looked at the presidential election in states that were considered to be swing states found that Trump had a narrow advantage over Biden.
In Pennsylvania, for instance, Trump had a three-point edge, but in Nevada, Michigan, North Carolina, Arizona, and Georgia, Biden had a six-point lead. There is a deadlock in Wisconsin:

Noble Predictive Insights (NPI) recently conducted a poll in Arizona and discovered that voters there are most concerned about immigration and inflation, two areas where Trump excels.
Trump brought up immigration during his Tuesday campaign speech in Grand Rapids, Michigan, calling Biden’s open border policy a “bloodbath.”
Trump’s Comments
“They tried to use that term incorrectly on me two weeks ago,” Trump said. “It’s all about misinformation. That’s all they do is cheat on elections…but it’s a border bloodbath, and it’s destroying our country.”
“They’re sending prisoners, murderers, drug dealers, mental patients, and terrorists — the worst they have in every country all over the world,” Trump continued, detailing the dangers of Biden’s open border policies.
“This isn’t just in South America. They’re coming from the Congo, from Yemen, from Somalia, from Syria. They come from all over the world, China,” he added.
