A federal judge has proved that there’s still some common sense left in America’s justice system…
He’s rejected attempts to dismiss the federal gun case against Joe Biden’s son Hunter Biden, according to court records.
Hunter Biden was indicted last year on three counts relating to his illegal possession of a firearm.
The scheduled start of the trial is supposed to be June 2024, But Hunter Biden apparently wants more time than that.
U.S. District Judge Maryellen Noreika, appointed by Donald Trump, does NOT want there to be more time before the trial begins.
“The problem with this argument is that the charging decision at issue was made during this administration — by Special Counsel Weiss — at a time when the head of the Executive Branch prosecuting Defendant is Defendant’s father,” Noreika wrote. “Defendant’s claim is effectively that his own father targeted him for being his son, a claim that is nonsensical under the facts here.”
