A Minnesota teacher is on administrative leave while an investigation is underway as to why she allegedly locked a middle school student in a closet. And by locked the student in the closet, I mean with two chairs propped up against the door so Nobody could get out. A lot of thought went into trapping this kid in the closet other than turning the lock as a prank.
Also, you tend not to yell at other students attempting to help the kid over something that’s done for yucks.
The video from the Jackson County Central School District was uploaded to Reddit. Because, as we’ve seen with a multitude of other videos shared by citizen journalist Libs of TikTok, there is an alarming number of teachers who don’t know how the internet works. It’s a middle school. Everyone has a smartphone unless they’re a poor.
Unclear is why the teacher locked the student in the closet. Maybe she had good reasons. The kid could have not been wearing a mask. Or, maybe the kid deadnamed another student and the teacher was making a political statement. She trapped the deadnamer “in the closet” to see how he liked it. If that’s the case, upon completion of the investigation, the teacher will be celebrated and given an award since this is a public school. Unless the teacher is white. If that’s the case, she maybe fired since this is a public school in Minnesota. The student will have his deadnaming-crime go on his permanent record.
Or the teacher is just a raging biyatch who was in a bad mood. There are a number of variables.
