Brain-Dead Biden is not doing well, and the Democrats know it. This means Governor Gavin Newsom, king of the COVID lockdowns, thinks that he has a chance if Biden decides to/is told to not run for reelection.
And Newsom, whose state has run out of U-Haul trucks because people are packing up and leaving, thinks that offering abortion access to people in red states is going to be a SUREFIRE WINNER. Want to kill your baby? Commie California will help, Newsom proclaims. And he’s buying the billboard ad space to prove it.

It’s kind of hilarious that the first state that Newsom brings up is Texas, seeing as Texas is now the most popular destination for ex-Californians. I don’t think he’s going to find a particularly receptive audience there, do you?
But the really sick and disgusting part of these billboards is the Bible verse that Team Newsom decided or approved for their abortion advertisement. The verse is Mark 12:31 (you can see it on the Mississippi billboard, it also went up in Oklahoma according to Newsom’s Liberal Twitter account), which on the billboard reads: “Love your neighbor as yourself. There is no greater commandment than these.”
Wait, you say. That’s just one commandment. Why does the verse say “there is no greater commandment than THESE,” indicating a plural? Why, that’s because *drumroll please* Team Newsom is cherry-picking what he wants out of the Gospel of Mark in order to justify using Jesus’s words to offer abortions to women. Let’s take a look at this entire passage, and point out where Newsom decided to do his creative editing.
28 One of the teachers of the law came and heard them debating. Noticing that Jesus had given them a good answer, he asked him, “Of all the commandments, which is the most important?”
29 “The most important one,” answered Jesus, “is this: ‘Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. 30 Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’
31 The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these.”
32 “Well said, teacher,” the man replied. “You are right in saying that God is one and there is no other but him. 33 To love him with all your heart, with all your understanding and with all your strength, and to love your neighbor as yourself is more important than all burnt offerings and sacrifices.”
34 When Jesus saw that he had answered wisely, he said to him, “You are not far from the kingdom of God.” And from then on no one dared ask him any more questions.”
Take a close look at the complete verse 31. Team Newsom seems to have left out some words from the beginning of the verse, and then slapped the rest on a billboard as if that helps prove their point. After all, “love your neighbor as yourself” MUST mean that if you want an abortion, your neighbor must want one too, right? That was TOTALLY what Jesus meant! Forget the “most important” commandment of loving the Lord with all your heart, mind, soul, and strength – let’s not give people ideas that anything other than the state and themselves are to be worshiped!
That’s a pretty grotesque use of Scripture to try and rationalize offering Commie California taxpayer money in order to kill babies from other states.
“The idea that Newsom is using the words of Jesus Christ, the Holy Scriptures, to promote the killing of unborn children as somehow loving and commanded by God is quite frankly disgusting,” said Jay Sekulow, chief counsel of the American Center for Law & Justice, in a statement to Fox News Digital.”
“This is a blatant, political fundraising ploy to boost his own political profile and presidential aspirations. The people are smarter than that. It just won’t work,” Sekulow added.”
Many Liberal Twitter users echoed Sekulow’s sentiment, including Matthew P. Schneider, a Roman Catholic priest who serves as adjunct professor of theology at Belmont Abbey College in Charlotte, North Carolina. He described Newsom’s billboards as “one of the [worst] distortions of a Bible passage I’ve ever seen.”
“Shame on [Newsom] and his government,” Schneider said. “The most basic level of loving your neighbor as yourself is not killing your neighbor, yet that’s exactly what abortion does.”
Perhaps Team Newsom should spend some time showing the people of the United States that he can keep Commie California running properly, instead of using taxpayer money to advertise and offer to pay for abortions. Maybe he could keep the power on, for example?
When Elitist Gavin Newsom has to tell his constituents that they have to use LESS power and electricity because the state’s grid could be overloaded, that does not exactly fill people with confidence that this guy is running his state so well that he ought to be considered a presidential contender. But Newsom has continued to fail his way to the top in pure Democrat political style, ever since he was mayor of San Francisco.

Hey, how is the homeless situation in California? Obviously, Elitist Gavin Newsom totally fixed San Francisco before the people of Commie California elected him lieutenant governor, and then governor, to fix the exact same problem, right???
Across the county, Commie California is home to the lion’s share of the nation’s homeless population. Per federal counts, more than 161,000 people were homeless in Sacramento in 2020, about 27 percent of the national total. We should note — Commie California is much bigger than most states, both geographically and population-wise. The mild climates also make it an easier place to live unsheltered than, say, the Midwest or New England.”
Critics, especially conservative cable news pundits, have piled blame on California’s decades-long Democratic rule. More than his predecessors, Gov. Elitist Gavin Newsom has made homelessness a centerpiece of his administration — securing historic levels of funding for local housing and clean-up projects. He recently announced that the state had cleared 1,200 encampments in the past year, and there are high hopes for his newly-launched CARE Courts.”
Hmmm, looks to me like someone is trying to sound tough now that he thinks that he might have a shot at the White House. (Does his “love your neighbor as yourself” philosophy apply to the homeless? Inquiring minds want to know, because surely these good progressives would welcome the homeless as neighbors, wouldn’t they?) And he will do everything that he can to bury his own COVID lockdown history and hypocrisy to get there, up to and including using taxpayer dollars to offer abortions to red state residents. And he will torture Scripture to fit HIS needs to do it. How utterly ghoulish and gross.
