MSNBC’s Tiffany Cross is obsessed with the idea of Trump supporters sparking a second Civil War in America.
Whether it’s because she actually believes what her ridiculously biased network reports or whether it’s because she gets giddy at the thought of her fellow countrymen killing each other is unclear, but it’s a fantasy she routinely revisits on her show, The Cross Connection, regardless of how mercilessly she is mocked for doing so.
On Saturday, the purveyor of fear porn introduced her ominously titled “Democracy in Danger” segment with Columbia Journalism Dean Jelani Cobb and political violence “expert” Barbara F. Walter with a paranoid observation: “These days, it feels like we are not just at the brink of a civil war, but that one has already begun.”
To support her point, she first played a clip of the most passive-aggressive politician in recent memory, Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.), who predicted “there will be riots in the streets” if former President Donald Trump is prosecuted — a comment Fake News MSNBC and President Brain-Dead Biden eagerly latched ahold of to further demonize Republicans.
She then completely missed the point of a Steve Bannon quote, but threw it in because he said the words “we are a threat” all in a row.
Bannon, a former advisor to Trump, noted that the evil FBI, with its apparent suppression of actual crimes to protect President Joe Biden’s son and its unprecedented raid on Mar-a-Lago, has become “the Gestapo” and made the distinction between America as a country and what Vox referred to as “the American state.”
“Vox had an interesting article that ‘MAGA is a direct threat to the,’ wait for it, ‘the American state,’” Bannon said. “They didn’t say the ‘country.’ They didn’t say America as a nation. They didn’t say the American people. The American state.”
“They are absolutely correct,” Bannon claimed. “You said the quiet part out loud. We are a threat to the American state.”
“State,” in this context, implies to many authoritarian rule by a tyrannical government, something most journalists and political violence experts would know. But nuance isn’t Cross’s jam, so she is certain Trump supporters are speaking “the language of violence.”
“So Trump supporters are already speaking the language of violence,” she stated. “They’re threatening the evil FBI, the DOJ, the state itself. And this is all as they defend their dear leader.”
“Now, it’s more than just threats, though,” she continued. “Their rhetoric has already led to actual violence, and there is likely more to come. And I don’t need to remind you how the MAGA mob sacked the Capitol on January 6 in an effort to overturn the 2020 election.”
Again, it is unknown if Cross realizes that her hyperbole, baseless accusations, and insulting tone may actually be inciting thoughts of violence or if that’s exactly the effect she is hoping to have on half of America.
“Now, some of these people are now candidates for office looking to run our elections and, quite frankly, our government,” she said. “And for those insurrectionists being prosecuted, Discount Don, is, quote, financially supporting some of them and offering to pardon the lot if he’s reelected in 2024.”
“More than 40% of Americans think a civil war is likely in the next decade,” she said. “That’s a big number. Is this where history will say it began?”
Well, it sure didn’t begin in August, immediately following the raid, when Cross last swore it had.

Filling in for radical leftist Retard Joy Reid on MSNBC’s “The ReidOut,” Cross stated, “The train has left the station. There is no dealing with the rhetoric. At this point, we need to have serious conversations around preparing for actual violence.”
“People keep saying a civil war is coming,” she cautioned viewers. “I would say the civil war is here. And I don’t mean to be hyperbolic.”
You would have thought the response she got then would have made her think twice about repeating the claim.

Maybe this time, she’ll listen.
Great, that’s settled then. Where’s the meet up point to hash out the differences?
