Maxwell Azzarello, the man who died after setting himself on fire while former President Trump’s hush money trial was taking place, once worked for the Democrat congressman who flipped Rep. George Santos’s seat blue, according to online records.
Rep. Tom Suozzi currently represents Nassau County and parts of Queens, having taken office earlier this February. He also served as a congressman from 2017 to 2023, before the disgraced Santos briefly took his seat.
Azzarello’s LinkedIn page states that he briefly worked as an Operations Director for Friends of Tom Suozzi from August 2013 to November 2013. The Florida resident, 37, died on Friday night due to severe burns after self-immolating inside Collect Pond Park near the Manhattan Criminal Courthouse.
However, a recently uploaded video on social media raised a lot of questions!
The video was posted with the following question:
Notice anything odd about this video of Max Azzarello being rushed to the hospital following his self-immolation outside a courthouse in Manhattan, NYC?

In another chilling video which shows one man off-camera beginning his plea for police right before Azzarello ignited himself into a ball of flames just as jury selection concluded in Trump’s historic case.
“Police, police, there’s a guy lighting himself on fire,” 25-year-old William Schoeffler screamed as Azzarello doused himself with an accelerant.
“He’s lighting himself on fire, hello.”
The shocked onlooker’s calls for help became more urgent as flames began to quickly erupt, according to the video.

Almost a minute later authorities swarmed the scene to help the 37-year-old man as he lay on the ground with severe burns throughout his body.
One bystander was holding a woman who was in tears.
Cops directed the witnesses to move away as they waited for EMS to arrive.
However, a person was able to film the NYPD reaction from above and all we can tell that they we slow in reacting like really slow:
