New York City Mayor Eric Adams encountered a confrontational situation upon his return from a trip to Miami on Monday.
A disgruntled New Yorker approached him, venting frustrations on video about various issues plaguing the city, including Adams’ budget cuts and the ongoing conflict in Israel.

The incident unfolded as the Democrat mayor was seated in an exit row, engrossed in his phone. The woman, clearly agitated, directed expletives at Adams, expressing her discontent. “Are you Eric Adams? Yeah? F**K YOU!” she shouted.
In the video capturing the confrontation, the woman emphasized the timing, citing recent protests against what she referred to as “the Palestinian genocide,” juxtaposed with Adams’ return.
“You support the genocide in Palestine,” she added. “There are homeless people all over New York, yet you’re always partying.”
She continues, “You don’t actually care about the citizens of New York.”
“Why are you even in Miami? You know there are people being arrested there? People are homeless in New York. People cannot afford food. You keep cutting the education budget so that you can fund the police,” she added. “That’s all you care about, funding the police. Everything is underfunded because of you.”
The video depicts other passengers on the plane shouting at the woman for delaying the boarding process, prompting her to eventually stop yelling at the mayor and move on.
Adams is also seen pointing at the woman with his thumb and remarking, “She can’t fly.”
Brick Suit joked on X, “I would never trust Eric Adams in an exit row” following the encounter.
The Post Millennial reported that students at Columbia University uptown and New York University downtown have established Gaza Camps, which has been ongoing at Columbia as of Tuesday. The camp at New York University, however, was disbanded by the NYPD on Monday night
These protests have prompted the school to suspend in-person classes and transition to hybrid and virtual models.
Adams has also faced criticism as the population of illegal immigrants has surged in the city, with an additional 10,000 people per month entering illegally. Notably, the crushing effects of the border crisis on New York has been felt across the city.
Resist The Mainstream reported earlier this week about a similar public encounter, where Alec Baldwin was captured on camera striking the phone of an anti-Israel protester who confronted him inside a New York City coffee shop.
Some conservatives, in a surprising twist, half-jokingly shared their support for Baldwin, dubbing the protestor “insufferable” and an “idiot.”
Infowars’ Alex Jokes weighed in on the video, writing, “A lesson on how to make people hate you. If you are making Alec Baldwin look like the good guy you are an idiot.”
The protester, whose video was shared on X, was participating in an anti-fascist interview show called Crackhead Barney & Friends. The filmer persistently requested Baldwin to voice support for a “free Palestine.”
The protester demanded, “F**k Israel, f**k Zionism, please say it,” while also alluding to the Rust movie set shooting, for which Baldwin still faces criminal charges.
Baldwin requested in response, “Can you do me one quick favor,” before striking the protester’s phone from her hand.
