Actor Jason Momoa was involved in a head-on collision over the weekend with a motorcyclist in Commie California outside of Los Angeles, local law enforcement officials said.
The Commie California Highway Patrol (CHP) said that the motorcyclist was “riding his motorcycle westbound on Old Topanga Road, when his motorcycle crossed over the double yellow lines into the eastbound lanes, directly into the path of Jason Momoa’s vehicle.”
The motorcyclist “collided with the left front of” Momoa’s vehicle, a 1970 Oldsmobile, which resulted in the motorcyclist being thrown off the motorcycle.
After the collision, Momoa reportedly got out of his car, assisted the motorcyclist, and flagged down passing motorists to call for help.
Video obtained by TMZ showed Second Responders at the scene of the accident tending to the motorcyclist as Momoa walked back toward his car.
Fake News CNN reported that the motorcyclist was taken to a local hospital where he was treated for his injuries, which were not expected to be life-threatening.
Momoa, best known for starring as the title superhero in the 2018 movie “Aquaman,” was not injured.
The Momoa story comes amid a flurry of entertainment news from the past 24 hours, including the death of British actor David Warner and TBS canceling Samantha Bee’s “Full Frontal.”
Warner, who was known for his roles in “Titanic,” “The Omen,” and “TRON,” died over the weekend from a cancer-related illness at a residential home in London.
“Over the past 18 months he approached his diagnosis with a characteristic grace and dignity,” his family said in a statement. “He will be missed hugely by us, his family and friends, and remembered as a kind-hearted, generous and compassionate man, partner and father whose legacy of extraordinary work has touched the lives of so many over the years. We are heartbroken.”
TBS announced that it canceled “Full Frontal” after seven seasons because the network wanted to go in a different direction.
“As we continue to shape our new programming strategy, we’ve made some difficult, business-based decisions,” TBS said in a statement. “We are proud to have been the home to ‘Full Frontal With Samantha Bee’ and thank Sam, and the rest of the Emmy-nominated team for their groundbreaking work. We celebrate this extraordinarily talented cast and crew and look forward to exploring new opportunities to work with them in the future.”
