Puerto Rico – The singer who is most well known for the hit song “Living la Vida Loca” is facing backlash after being accused of domestic violence and incest by a family member.
The singer’s attorney is calling the accusation untrue and “disgusting.”
Ricky Martin has been accused by a nephew of being violent toward him and having an incestuous relationship with him.
Martin’s attorney, Marty Singer, claims that the accusations by the unnamed nephew are a lie and that the accuser is suffering from “mental health challenges.” Sanchez told Fox News Digital:
“Unfortunately, the person who made this claim is struggling with deep mental health challenges…Ricky Martin has, of course, never been – and would never be – involved in any kind of sexual or romantic relationship with his nephew. The idea is not only untrue, it is disgusting.
“We all hope that this man gets the help he so urgently needs. But, most of all, we look forward to this awful case being dismissed as soon as a judge gets to look at all the facts.”
Martin’s nephew and accuser, Denis Yadiel Sanchez, is allegedly claiming that he and the singer were romantically involved for several months before things ended.
Sanchez, who is the son of Martin’s stepsister, claims that Martin “exercised physical and psychological attacks” against him.
According to Spanish news outlet Marca, Sanchez alleges Martin continued to harass him after their relationship had ended which led to him seeking a restraining order which was granted on July 1st. After the order was filed, Martin took to Twitter to defend himself:
“The protection order entered against me is based on completely false allegations, so I will respond through the judicial process with the facts and the dignity that characterize me.
Because it is an ongoing legal matter, I cannot make detailed statements at his time. I am grateful for the countless messages of solidarity, and I receive them with all my heart.”

News reports on Sanchez’s blood relationship are unclear for certain as most media outlets show he is the son of Martin’s stepsister which would mean they are only related by marriage. H
owever, there are other reports that a representative of Martin reported to the DailyMail.com that Sanchez is in fact related to him.
Ricky Martin had a seven-month relationship with his 21-year-old nephew, who is now accusing him of domestic violence and filed a restraining order.

Martin has already been facing legal trouble as his former business manager, Rebecca Drucker, filed a civil suit against the singer for allegedly refusing to pay her for services rendered.
Drucker’s legal team alleges Martin owes her $3 million for working for him from 2014-2018 and then again in September of 2020 when she provided him with a legal team to help him navigate “an unspecified career-ending allegation.”
While Drucker makes the allegation she helped Martin navigate the career-ending allegation, there is seemingly no information that has been released to shed light on what that allegation may be…or if it is somehow related to Sanchez.
Regardless, the only thing clear with Martin is he is in a legal battle, at the very least, for his reputation.
If Sanchez is truly related to Martin the laws in Puerto Rico make it a criminal offense to be in any type of incestuous romantic relationship.
If the allegations are proven to be true and Martin is convicted in a court of law, he could face up to fifty years in prison.
Perfect timing? Paul Pelosi purchases semiconductor stock as House poised to vote on bill favoring the industry
The following contains editorial content which is the opinion of the writer, a retired Chief of Police and current staff writer for Law Enforcement Today.
THE SWAMP- In most organizations, insider trading results in people being arrested. In Congress, it’s just another day in the swamp.
Such is the case where the “luckiest” stock trader in the U.S., “Pickled” Paul Pelosi just purchased up to $5 million in stock options on a computer chip company as Congress is set to “vote on legislation next week that would deliver billions of dollars in subsidies” to the benefit of the chip manufacturing industry, according to financial disclosures found by the Daily Caller.
The New York Post, citing the Daily Caller report, advises that on June 17, Paul Pelosi, husband of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) purchased 20,000 shares of a company called Nividia, a top semiconductor company, a purchase worth between $1 million and $5 million.
This is just the latest in a series of questionable stock purchases made by Pelosi, who clearly has the benefit of getting insider info during his pillow talk (yes we know, vomit-inducing) with his wife. The information was obtained from financial disclosure reports filed by the congresswoman.
A vote in the Senate is expected as early as Tuesday to vote on a bipartisan bill which seeks to set aside $52 billion to boost domestic semiconductor manufacturing, as well as to provide tax credits for production, Reuters reported.
Craig Holman, a government affairs lobbyist for the left-wing think tank Public Citizen, told the Daily Caller News Foundation:
“It certainly raises the specter that Paul Pelosi could have access to some insider legislative information,” he said. When even left-leaning think tanks acknowledge something might be amiss, it probably makes sense to pay attention.
“This is the reason there is a stock trading app that exclusively monitors Paul’s trading activity and then its followers do likewise.”
Pelosi, who clearly has the benefit of getting information most Americans are not privy to, is considered an “avid” stock trader (why wouldn’t he be?).
He is also facing criminal charges, but not the kind he probably should be subject to. In that case, Pickled Paul is charged with drunk driving after getting into a motor vehicle accident in May. That case is currently pending.
Pelosi’s stock trading “prowess” is the stuff of legends and has raised serious questions about the ethics of members of Congress, who have insider information which can certainly benefit them financially, or their families should be allowed to trade in the stock market while they’re serving in Congress.
Besides his most recent purchase, Pelosi sold 10,000 shares of Visa worth between $1 million and $5 million, as well as 50 call options in Apple worth between $100,000 and $250,000, disclosures show, trades which occurred at about the same time he purchased the Nividia stock.
The Washington Examiner reports that Pelosi’s House of Representatives passed the America COMPETES act in February, which is intended to provide aid to industries believed to need a hand up in dealing with Chinese technology and manufacturing.
Under the legislation, it would direct $52 billion to boost semiconductor ship production and another $45 billion to support supply chains.
That bill is the House version of a bill passed in the Senate which enjoyed bipartisan support in June 2021. The bill is supported by Biden. Quick, better check to see what Hunter’s involvement in either the semiconductor or supply chain industries is.
Both the Daily Caller and the Washington Examiner reached out to Nancy Pelosi’s office for comment, however no response was received. Different rules for the ruling class and the rest of us peons, we suppose.
