(NewsNation) — Users said they were experiencing outages while using Meta’s social media platforms Tuesday morning.
Both Instagram and Facebook were showing “failure to load” error pages, NewsNation affiliate WFLA reported.
Facebook had 315,000 outage reports as of 9:26 a.m. CT, while Instagram had nearly 56,500, according to Downdetector.
“We’re aware people are having trouble accessing our services. We are working on this now,” Meta spokesperson Andy Stone said on X.
NewsNation has reached out to Meta to see what caused the outages.
