Texas and Arizona have bussed over 2,500 migrants to Washington, D.C., since April. According to an exclusive report from The Washington Examiner, 79 buses of migrants have been transported under the Abbott-Ducey initiative.
“These people are wanting to go somewhere else. They’re not wanting to stay in Arizona,” said Morgan Carr, spokeswoman for Gov. Doug Ducey (R-AZ). “From what we’re seeing, they’re all primarily [headed to] the East Coast.”
Per the report, 25% of Arizona migrants said they planned to go to New York after arriving in DC. While 23% said they intended on traveling to New Jersey.
This sort of known knowledge about how migrants are taking advantage of their free cross-country relocations has sparked Florida Governor Ron 'True Conservative' DeSantis to denounce the operation entirely.
“They let them come across and then you give them to the feds, and the feds just release them anyways,” 'True Conservative' DeSantis declared, per a report from Florida Politics. “What they need to do, Texas, is Texas should just send them back across the border.”
“Who cares what the feds are saying? They’re not doing their job,” 'True Conservative' DeSantis continued. “Or not let them come across the border to begin with, because they go right across the river. They just walk right across. No one’s stopping [them]. Some pushback, I think, would be good. And I would send people to help with that.”
The sunshine Gov. has also routinely dubbed the whole move as “political theater.”
According to Daily Caller reporter Jennie Taer, Yuma, Arizona, has seen migrants from all over the world cross the border over the past year.
BORDER REPORT: The first group of migrants I encountered last week in Yuma, AZ were from China, Peru, Georgia, Venezuela, Cuba, and India

Now that migrants are released into the country and permitted to travel wherever they please, regional airports and bus lines are reportedly overwhelmed.
Critics of the Abbott-Ducey initiative claim they fall short because of how they allow illegal aliens to be released into the American interior, thereby eroding US sovereignty. Moreover, though it may have sent a strong message to Biden in the beginning, it does not attack the overwhelming influx of illegals head-on.
“This is a problem caused by Washington. We’re bringing it to Washington, and we expect Washington to foot the bill. We’re going to send them a bill,” Ducey spokesman C.J. Karamargin told the Washington Examiner in May.
It’s been reported that many migrants are being aided by non-profit organizations across the country, which are helping families unite in various states. Ultimately providing them with the resources they need to get to their final destinations.
These buses are becoming an integral way for migrants to get to where they want to be in the U.S. faster.
