The hits just keep coming for Democrats in regard to utterly despicable acts against children.
The latest to fall is former Obama policy adviser Rami Shy.
According to reports, Shy has been charged with child sex offenses in the United Kingdom.
Disgrace
Why, a New Jersey native, is 46 years old, and he was reportedly arrested with a formidable stack of charges.
On Friday, Shy was in a Luton Crown Court after having been arrested for, among other charges, arranging the commission of a child sex offense and possessing indecent images of children.
The full details of the alleged crimes are not yet known, but we do know that Shy is being held until his next hearing in June.
Shy worked in the Treasury Department at the outset of the Obama administration through 2014.
He was also an adviser for Obama regarding how to counter terrorism financing from Al Qaeda and the Taliban.
Shy had testified before Congress in 2009 regarding security issues in the Middle East.
After leaving the Obama administration, Shy eventually went to work for Citi Bank, but the company stated that he was no longer employed there.
Why Shy was in the UK or whether he is now living there also remains a mystery at this time, but we fully expect more reports to come forward now that the arrest has been made public.
I have not seen any comments by Obama officials on the matter as of this writing.
Shy now joins a growing list of Democrats and high-profile donors who find themselves on the wrong side of the law regarding sex crimes against children.
The most notorious, of course, was Jeffrey Epstein, who allegedly hung himself in prison after having been arrested on charges related to acts of pedophilia and human trafficking.
