Morning show co-host declares ‘The Clintons are a virus’ (VIDEO)

On “The View,” co-host Meghan McCain is the panel’s conservative voice. Not one to withhold her opinion  – when she’s able to get a word in – McCain commented on recent remarks from twice-failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton and her family, calling them “a virus” on Tuesday’s show.

Clinton was in India over the weekend, while there stating that President Donald Trump’s campaign was “looking backward,” making racism and sexism a factor in voters choosing Trump over her in the 2016 presidential election. She also said white women were told by their husbands and other men to vote for Trump.

The Washington Examiner reports McCain’s response: “Honestly, I have to tell you. It’s one thing to lose to President Obama. It’s an entirely other thing to pull off losing to President Trump. And you gotta come up with a better excuse than this,” Meghan McCain responded Tuesday on “The View.”

McCain said Clinton may want to think about the message she’s spreading as the midterm elections approach.

“If your messaging is that you want to go back in time, that women can’t think for themselves, that our husbands, bosses, and sons tell us what to do, that’s quite the message going forward into midterms and [the] general election,” she said.

“The Clintons are a virus in the Democratic Party. You have to move on,” McCain added.

Hillary also made other negative remarks about Trump and had a clumsy episode on stairs while in India.
