The 2020 census was a complete disaster for Republican states.
Florida got screwed out of the representation it deserved while blue states padded their numbers.
And Ron DeSantis just exposed one deep state scheme that has Democrats in full panic mode.
DeSantis calls out the census fraud that robbed Florida
Here’s what actually happened with the 2020 census, and why nobody in Washington wants to talk about it.
Florida got royally screwed.
The state was undercounted by over 750,000 people – that’s not a rounding error, that’s systematic fraud.¹
Florida needed just 100,000 more people to snag another congressional seat, but somehow the deep state bureaucrats managed to “miss” three-quarters of a million Floridians.
Meanwhile, states like California got to count every single illegal alien living in sanctuary cities as if they were actual American citizens deserving representation.
You want to know what this really costs? We’re talking about 20 to 30 electoral votes that got shifted from red states to blue states because of this scam.
DeSantis isn’t buying the official story, and he’s doing something about it.
The Governor sent Attorney General James Uthmeier up to Washington, D.C. to demand the Commerce Department fix this mess before 2026.²
“We were robbed of a seat,” Uthmeier said, and he’s absolutely right.³

The deep state’s census manipulation exposed
Look, here’s what really went down during the 2020 census.
“I’m not a conspiracy theorist, but every state that got shortchanged was a Republican state and every state that got more (representatives) was a Democrat state,” DeSantis said.⁴
That’s not coincidence – that’s coordination.
“It’s clear that there’s been, for a long time now, a deep state effort to manipulate the census and shift electoral power to blue states, to sanctuary states,” Uthmeier explained.⁵
They delayed the results, manipulated the data, and made sure Democrat strongholds kept their inflated representation.
The whole system is rigged against states that actually follow immigration law.

California gets rewarded for harboring millions of illegal aliens, while Florida – which enforces border security – gets punished with an undercount.
“The deep state’s always been working the census for political purposes,” Uthmeier said on The Dana Show.⁶
It’s the exact opposite of what the founders intended.
Now DeSantis is pushing for a mid-decade census that would exclude illegal aliens from congressional apportionment.
And Trump is backing the plan.

Democrats scrambling to protect their census scam
You want to see panic? Watch how civil rights groups and census “experts” are reacting to DeSantis’s push for an honest count.
They’re begging officials to “turn a new leaf” and forget about the 2020 disaster.
Thomas Saenz from the Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund is practically hyperventilating about “further debate about excluding people” from the count.⁷
These aren’t civil rights advocates – they’re Democrat operatives who know their party’s entire electoral strategy depends on counting illegal aliens as voters.

The math is simple: if you remove illegal aliens from congressional apportionment, red states gain dozens of seats while blue sanctuary states lose their artificial advantage.
That’s why they’re fighting so hard to keep this scam going.
But DeSantis isn’t backing down.
The Governor is already planning to redraw Florida’s congressional map regardless of whether Washington fixes the census.
“Even if they don’t do a new census, even if they don’t revise the current Census, I still think it is appropriate to [redraw the lines],” DeSantis said.⁸
He’s got broad support in the Florida Legislature, and they’re planning to target at least five Democrat seats in the next redistricting.
Democratic representatives like Debbie Wasserman Schultz, Lois Frankel, and Frederica Wilson could find their districts completely redrawn or merged into Republican-leaning areas.

The real fight is about American representation
Here’s what this comes down to: should illegal aliens get representation in Congress or not?
DeSantis says absolutely not.
The current system is completely backwards.
States that refuse to enforce immigration law get rewarded with extra congressional seats, while states that follow federal law get shortchanged.
It’s taxation without representation in reverse – illegal aliens who can’t legally vote are determining how many representatives states get in Congress.
The deep state bureaucrats know exactly what they’re doing.
They’re using the census to artificially inflate Democrat representation while suppressing Republican states.
But now Trump is back in office and DeSantis is leading the charge to expose this fraud.
The 2026 midterms could look very different if Republicans succeed in getting an honest census count.
And Democrats know it – that’s why they’re in full panic mode trying to stop any investigation into what really happened in 2020.
The question is whether Trump and DeSantis can cut through the deep state bureaucracy fast enough to fix this mess before the next election.
Time will tell, but at least someone is finally fighting back against this constitutional crisis.
