The Democratic Party has become so tribal that no success can be acknowledged if it results from the actions of President Donald J. Trump.
Taking Trump Derangement Syndrome to the next level, a Gallup poll showed that less than 1% of Democrats are satisfied with the direction of the country under Trump — this coming from the party that calls Team MAGA a cult.
On the other hand, 76% of Republicans and 25% of independents reported satisfaction. For comparison, a July 2024 survey, when President Joe Biden was in office, showed that 1% of Republicans were satisfied and 97% were dissatisfied — it’s worth noting that this was after Biden’s disastrous debate performance against Trump.
“Partisanship is also at a peak on this metric, with 76% of Republicans saying they are satisfied with the direction of the country versus less than 1% of Democrats,” Gallup reported. “The resulting 76-point gap is the highest Gallup has recorded on this measure, although not substantially different from a 75-point gap in May and 74 points in March and July. Before this year, the parties had differed by more than 70 points on satisfaction only once, in October 2004 before that year’s presidential election.”
Less than 1% of Democrats are satisfied with the way things are going in the U.S. — the lowest Gallup has ever recorded. In contrast, 76% of Republicans are satisfied.

Trump’s approval rating is even more polarizing, with 93% of Republicans approving of the president’s overall job performance, compared with just 1% of Democrats. The 92-point gap ties the record for the largest partisan divide in Gallup’s presidential approval trends. Independents approve of Trump’s performance at a 35% clip.
All of which shows the Democratic Party’s full-on attack on all things Trump is having nearly perfect success with their radical left-wing base.

It’s safe to say that the left is still struggling to come to terms with the outcome of the 2024 presidential election. The bad news for the party is that Trump still has well over 3 years remaining in his second term in office.
Here’s a quick sample of responses to the story, as seen on X:

Democrats hate Trump so badly, they’d rather see America failing than admit he was right.
And every month, he delivers more tangible proof. The border. Crime in DC. Record stock market. Slowing inflation. Private sector job growth.
And with each success- dems are furious.
