It’s a Cold Civil War—And It’s About Time We Started Fighting Back

Their message was clear: conform or be erased from the economy.

Simultaneously, they launched an assault on our social fabric. They threw open our southern border, unleashing an unprecedented crisis designed not only to strain our economy and social services but to fundamentally and permanently alter the American electorate and culture. In their own cities, they championed reckless “no-bail” policies that coddled criminals and unleashed chaos onto the streets, abandoning law-abiding citizens to fend for themselves. This wasn’t incompetence; it was a deliberate strategy to break down social order.

Their most insidious attack was on our identity. With ahistorical drivel like the 1619 Project, they sought to rewrite our nation’s history, casting America not as a beacon of liberty but as a hopelessly oppressive state. They wanted to sever us from our founding principles to justify their radical agenda. And when they couldn’t win with ideas, they resorted to violence. In the summer of 2020, we watched as Antifa and BLM mobs torched our cities, tore down our statues, and attacked our police. People died in that violence. It was the moment the cold war turned hot, and the left either cheered it on or looked the other way.

For too long, the right was on the defensive. But now, we are finally fighting back.

The Trump administration’s agenda is not just a collection of policies; it is a direct and necessary counter-offensive to win this war. The first battleground is the federal bureaucracy—the “deep state” that worked to undermine a duly elected president. Through decisive executive action, the administration is cleaning house, ensuring that the people who run our government are accountable to the citizens, not to a progressive ideology.
