It turns out that former President Joe Biden was the first public official to try to link President Donald Trump to Russia after U.S. intelligence learned of the Hillary Clinton campaign’s plan.
This is according to a new report from Just the News.
The most recent revelation from the declassified intelligence being released by the Trump administration is that Hillary Clinton herself signed off on the Russia-Trump collusion hoax.
Previously, it was only claimed that Clinton’s campaign — not Clinton herself — was involved.

The latest intel dump came on Thursday.
The New York Post reported:
Hillary Clinton signed off on a plan hatched by a top campaign adviser to “smear” then-candidate Donald Trump with false claims of Russian collusion and distract from her own mounting email scandal during the 2016 campaign, according to explosive intelligence files declassified Thursday.
The plan came from Julianne Smith, the Clinton campaign’s foreign policy advisor.
The outlet goes on to write:
The plot, the brainchild of the Clinton campaign’s then-foreign policy adviser, Julianne Smith, included “raising the theme of ‘Putin’s support for Trump’” and “subsequently steering public opinion toward the notion that it needs to equate” the Russian leader’s political influence campaign with actual hacking of election infrastructure.

Then-Vice President Joe Biden was the first major Democrat in summer 2016 to publicly try to link Donald Trump to Vladimir Putin after U.S. intelligence intercepted a purported plan by Hillary Clinton’s campaign to vilify Trump by falsely linking him to a Russian plot.
This took place in July 2016.
The outlet adds:
Biden would become the public face of an effort to attack Trump by linking him to Putin starting in late July 2016 — just as the Democratic National Convention formally nominating Clinton was getting underway, and very soon after the reported approval by Clinton to carry out this plan.
The question here for many Americans is whether any accountability is going to come from all of this. Attorney General Pam Bondi is said to be analyzing the situation to see what, if any, charges she can bring against the perpetrators. But, as of this writing, there has been no action.
