High Noon, the alcoholic-beverage brand specializing in hard seltzer made with vodka, is recalling some of its variety packs because they contain non-alcoholic Celsius energy drinks that High Noon says were “inadvertently filled” with alcohol.
High Noon reportedly initiated the recall after discovering that empty Celsius cans were mistakenly shipped to High Noon by a shared packaging supplier.

Still, the company’s explanation does not appear to fully explain how alcohol got into the Celsius drinks, considering High Noon doesn’t own Celsius.
The Food and Drug Administration made the matter public Wednesday on its website with a post from Modesto, California-based High Noon.
The notice said High Noon is recalling two lots of “High Noon Beach Variety” 12-packs with cans of vodka drinks that were mislabeled as “Celsius Astro Vibe, Sparkling Blue Razz Edition.”
The company also said that “consumption of the liquid in these cans will result in unintentional alcohol ingestion” and that “no illnesses or adverse events have been reported.”
The FDA encourages consumers who purchased the Celsius products under the impacted lot codes to dispose of them without consumption. Those who purchased High Noon cans may contact High Noon’s consumer relations for next steps and refunds, the announcement says.
