Award winning journalist, John Stossel, did a great segment comparing Europe to the United States. His chart shows how impressively the United States is out-performing Europe on GDP growth. Notice that the United States really took off, after the 2017 Trump tax cuts which reduced the federal corporate income tax rate from 35% to a flat rate of 21%. In other words, America went from being among the higher business tax nations to among the lower. Look what difference it made.
Now, if only Oregon would stop chasing the Europe model.
