Democrat Rep. Rashida Tlaib of Michigan labeled supporters of Israel “mother****ers” who back genocide during unhinged remarks at a pro-Hamas conference.
Tlaib led a revolt from the Democratic Party’s left wing over then-President Joe Biden’s support of Israel’s military operations since the Oct. 7, 2023, attack by the radical Islamic terrorist group Hamas that killed over 1,200 people. She called on Democratic primary voters to back “uncommitted” delegate slates, blasting Biden for failing to secure a permanent cease-fire.
The “Squad” member’s newest inflammatory remarks were delivered at the radical “People’s Conference for Palestine” on Sunday.
“They thought they could kill us, rape us, imprison us, violently uproot us from our olive tree farms, starve our children to death, and we would disappear. Well, guess what? Now we’re in Congress, and we’re in every corner of the United States,” Tlaib said. “Y’all, they just don’t get it. They just don’t get it. They will never truly comprehend, even after seven decades that we aren’t going anywhere. We are just getting started.”

“I want to say to all of them, every genocide enabler, look at this room, mother****ers. We ain’t going anywhere. We are just growing and growing and growing,” Tlaib continued.
The House of Representatives censured Tlaib in November 2023 for using the phrase “from the river to the sea,” which has connotations of wiping out Israel.
In May 2023, Tlaib hosted an event in a Senate hearing room marking Israel’s founding as a ‘catastrophe,’ after then-House Speaker Kevin McCarthy blocked her from holding it in the Capitol building. Tlaib invoked apartheid when discussing Israel in 2021 and 2022 posts on Twitter.
Tlaib and other left-wing members of the House known as “The Squad” released statements calling for a ceasefire almost immediately after the deadly terrorist attack against multiple locations in southern Israel. Tlaib joined Democratic Reps. Jamaal Bowman, Ilhan Omar, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Cori Bush, Al Green, Summer Lee, Delia Ramirez and Andre Carson in voting against the resolution, H. Res. 771, which passed by a 412-10 vote with six members voting “present” on Oct. 25, 2023.
