This Sunday, CatholicVote will release a special edition of The LOOP featuring exclusive coverage of the historic canonizations of Blessed Carlo Acutis and Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati.
The edition will include coverage from Rome, with photos, video clips, and reporting from the canonization events, along with background pieces that explore the lives and legacies of the Church’s newest saints.
Blessed Carlo Acutis, known as the first Millennial saint, died in 2006 at age 15. He was known for his Eucharistic devotion and his use of technology to share the faith. He created an online exhibition of Eucharistic miracles and quietly served those around him, even while battling leukemia.

Blessed Frassati, who died in 1925 at age 24, was active in Catholic social action and known for his generosity to the poor. A student and mountaineer from a prominent Italian family, he lived out a faith that combined deep prayer with bold public witness, often delivering food and supplies to those in need while quietly opposing fascism.
EWTN will air the canonization Mass live from St. Peter’s Basilica Sept. 7 at 3 a.m. ET. An encore showing will be at 3 p.m. ET.
