Robert Mueller looked like a “confused, stuttering, agreeable, lost and nervous doddering old man during his testimony to Congress.” He frequently had to page through his notes because he was disoriented and unable to recall basic facts about his own report. This was not a man in command; this was a man being used as a figurehead.
There is simply no way a man in such a visible state of decline years earlier was the mastermind behind the multi-year Russia collusion witch hunt. This entire operation was a fraudulent endeavor from its inception, a deep state coup attempt orchestrated to sabotage the presidency of Donald J. Trump. The media’s continued protection of this narrative, even in the face of overwhelming evidence to the contrary, is a gross betrayal of the public’s trust.
