The Department of Health and Human Services is demanding that 46 states and territories remove all references to gender ideology in their federally-funded Personal Responsibility Education Program.
The agency made the demand in a letter Tuesday through its Administration for Children and Families department tells the states and territories to remove all such educational materials within 60 days.
“This action reflects the Trump Administration’s ongoing commitment to protecting children from attempts to indoctrinate them with delusional ideology, DHS said.
Last month, ACF terminated California’s PREP grant after the state failed to meet its demand to remove gender ideology from its educational materials. ACF says those who fail to comply will face similar enforcement actions including the withholding, suspension, or termination of federal PREP funding.
