Fake News CNN had to admit to their hundreds of remaining viewers that gas prices have fallen to the lowest they’ve been in years, and that President Trump is to thank for it.
“OPEC refused to pump more during the Biden years. They are pumping aggressively now — and that is something that the president [Trump] has pushed them to do,” the anchor stated.
Boy this must’ve been painful for them.
Fake News CNN forced to report that gas prices are the LOWEST they’ve been in years because of Trump:

All it took (again) was for Trump to be in the White House.
So let me get this straight…
For 4 years under Biden, OPEC refused to pump more oil. Gas prices crushed the middle class.Trump walks back in → suddenly OPEC is pumping like crazy → gas prices hit the lowest in YEARS.
But sure, tell me again how “mean tweets” were the real…

OPEC is pumping aggressively because the USA is. They need money. As more oil is on the market, the price drops and they have to sell more to maintain their budgets. So they pump more. https://t.co/98Oah9XDDC

Sane Americans are more than satisfied.
Working people and investors are happy with the direction Trump is leading the country. I dare someone to say it’s what Biden did. pic.twitter.com/PcJj8uZP1d

Democrats on the other hand…
Gas prices in the US have plummeted to their lowest levels in five years, with the national average for regular gasoline falling to $3.15 per gallon on August 25, according to the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA).
This marks a significant 5% decline, or 17 cents per gallon, from the same period in 2024, and represents the cheapest Labor Day weekend prices since 2020.
Gas prices are the lowest they’ve been since President Trump’s first term.
Americans are already winning this Labor Day weekend.

Historical data from the EIA shows that annual averages have trended downward from the record high of $3.95 per gallon in 2022—driven by post-pandemic supply disruptions and geopolitical tensions—to $3.52 in 2023 and $3.30 in 2024, with 2025 on pace for around $3.14 through the year.
In states like Mississippi and Oklahoma, prices have dipped below $2.70 per gallon, providing substantial relief for drivers amid broader economic pressures.
This drop is the result of abundant global crude oil supply outpacing demand, with Brent crude averaging $67 per barrel in August 2025, a 15% decrease from the prior year.
President Trump’s aggressive push for American energy dominance has played a pivotal role in unleashing this relief at the pump, as the administration has dismantled restrictive Biden-era policies and expanded domestic drilling to record levels.
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt highlighted that “thanks to President Trump fully unleashing American energy dominance, gas prices this summer are at five-year lows,” crediting the reversal of the “Green New Scam” for making America affordable again.

Under Trump’s leadership, U.S. oil production has surged to over 13.5 million barrels per day in 2025, up from 13.3 million in 2024, according to EIA forecasts, which has flooded the market and driven down wholesale costs.
Secretary of Energy Chris Wright emphasized that “more American energy means lower costs,” with the administration’s deregulation efforts enabling a 200,000-barrel-per-day increase in output.
This policy-driven boom, combined with Trump’s diplomatic pressure on OPEC+ to boost supply, has not only stabilized prices but also positioned the US as a net energy exporter, saving families an estimated $100 million daily on fuel compared to peak 2022 levels of nearly $5 per gallon.
It’s the beginning of a golden age!
