Former President Bill Clinton was recently caught travelling with a portable defibrillator.
This, according to the New York Post, has many raising questions about Clinton’s health.
Thus far, we have not gotten many answers. But, take a look at this photograph:
Bill Clinton has now revealed his health is slipping again after he and Hillary were seen leaving the Hamptons with a defibrillator in hand.
The device, capable of shocking the heart back into rhythm, is a tool reserved for life-or-death moments.

The incident
According to the Post, this photograph of the 79-year-old Clinton was taken on Thursday, Aug. 28, 2025. It was taken as he was leaving the Hamptons. The above photograph shows Clinton getting ready to board a private plane.
“The longtime Democratic power couple was photographed Thursday carrying what appeared to be a Propaq MD Air Medical Bag — a transport monitor and defibrillator commonly used in emergencies — as they boarded a private plane,” the Post reports.
It adds, “Clinton, dressed in a blue jacket and tan hat, was escorted by his security team. Hillary, the former secretary of state and twice-failed presidential candidate, covered up in a black sweatshirt over her blue two-piece outfit for the flight.”
For those unfamiliar with the medical device, it is sold as:
a lightweight, compact, transport monitor/defibrillator [that] provides advanced monitoring and resuscitation capabilities, with decision support and telemedicine technology.
The question, of course, is why the former president needs to be traveling with such a medical device.
Here’s what we know:
Clinton has had medical problems in the past.
Just the News reports:
Clinton had quadruple coronary bypass surgery in 2004 due to blockages in his arteries. In 2010, he had two stents installed to open a blocked coronary artery.
Both procedures were, admittedly, a long time ago. But questions have been raised more recently about Clinton’s health as wealth.
The Daily Mail reports:
Bill Clinton has a history of heart health issues, having previously suffered a heart attack that required bypass surgery in 2004 . . . Clinton’s health has been in the spotlight in recent years as the once-vibrant Democrat has noticeably aged. Last year, he was discharged from the hospital on Christmas Eve after being treated for the flu. Clinton was hospitalized on December 23 at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, DC, and was undergoing additional testing after developing a fever.
Neither Clinton nor a spokesperson has commented on the defibrillator situation.
