Alexis Wilkins, country music singer and longtime girlfriend of FBI Director Kash Patel, is suing a former FBI agent-turned-podcaster for defamation after he claimed she was a “Mossad honeypot.”
The 26-year-old filed a $5 million lawsuit against Kyle M. Seraphin on Wednesday, alleging he “maliciously lied” about her being a foreign agent tasked with manipulating Patel.
Seraphin aired an episode of The Kyle Seraphin Show on August 22, where he claimed Wilkins, “half his age,” was a former Israeli intelligence agent.
He suggested she prevented Patel from releasing files connected to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
Seraphin said, “Like it has nothing to do with the fact that uh we’re really close to the Trump administration. Anyway, I’m sure that’s totally just like love.”
Wilkins’ lawyers claim Seraphin “makes a living” by “profiting on controversy and outrage.”
They claim he spread false information to his large audience across X, Rumble, and YouTube, according to the Daily Mail.
They call his statements “self-enriching clickbait” meant to harm Wilkins’ reputation.
Much of the online chatter about Wilkins centers on her 19-year age gap with Patel and her past work with PragerU. The organization’s CEO previously served in Israeli military intelligence, fueling claims she was a “honeypot.”
Wilkins dismissed the accusations, noting she had been dating Patel for over two years before he became FBI Director.
“I think it started with people wanting to find a justification for the fact that they don’t have this [Epstein] list in their hand,” Wilkins told the Daily Mail earlier this month. She added, “There are a lot of people in this administration with age differences. There are a lot of people out there with age differences.”
Patel, 45, has promised transparency in the Epstein case. During his January 2025 confirmation hearing, he committed to releasing unaltered files related to Epstein’s international sex trafficking network. Conspiracy theorists, however, claim Wilkins influenced Patel’s decisions. Both she and Patel deny the accusations.
Seraphin did not respond to requests for comment on Friday. He did, however, double down on X, reposting claims that Wilkins was a Mossad agent with the repeated caption: “Oh.”
Wilkins is also a conservative activist, advocating for gun rights and veterans. Her lawyers argue the lawsuit holds Seraphin accountable for spreading harmful falsehoods. They say his claims have no factual basis and are intended to damage her public image.
The lawsuit comes amid wider public attention on Patel, who has been criticized and scrutinized for his handling of the Epstein files. Critics claim Wilkins’ relationship with Patel has become a focal point for conspiracy theories, but her legal team insists the claims are entirely false.
The defamation suit highlights the risks public figures face when personal relationships become targets for online conspiracy theories. Wilkins’ team says the case will hold Seraphin responsible and make clear that such baseless attacks are not acceptable.
Wilkins’ action also raises broader questions about online misinformation and accountability for podcasters and social media figures who spread false allegations about individuals connected to high-profile officials.
