Federal judges are putting their compromised politics above our families’ safety.
These activist judges think they know better than the constitution—playing politics with people’s lives.
The damage is not some abstract legal theory. It is real and it is measured in attempted carjackings, in terrorized families, and in elderly women fighting for their lives at gas stations. When judges choose to protect violent criminals instead of law-abiding Americans:
[T]hey are handing out free passes for chaos.
Earlier this month, U.S. District Judge Rita Lin—another Obiden appointee—did something unbelievable. She blocked Immigration and Customs Enforcement from deporting Guillermo Medina Reyes. Who is Reyes? He is an illegal immigrant convicted of attempted murder when he was 16. But Judge Lin decided this dangerous criminal deserved protection. Liberal activists cheered outside the courthouse. Meanwhile, Reyes walked free.
Here is where it gets terrifying. Just weeks after receiving his get-out-of-jail-free card, Reyes went on a rampage.
Picture this—you’re driving with your 3-year-old in the backseat. Suddenly, a violent criminal tries to steal your car. With your baby inside! That’s exactly what Reyes did to one father.
But wait, it gets worse. When that carjacking failed, Reyes tried hijacking a big rig truck. He stole the driver’s phone first. Then he attacked a woman in her 60s at a gas station. She was simply trying to pump gas! The brave grandmother fought back by dousing him with gasoline.
From The Post Millennial:
Police say it began when Reyes called 911 to report a woman screaming in a vacant house next to where he had been staying. Officers responded and noted a broken window and cuts on Reyes’ hands. After the police left, a shirtless man, later identified as Reyes, allegedly approached a big-rig driver, stole his cell phone, and attempted to hijack the truck.
Can you imagine? A three-year-old child nearly became a carjacking victim because a judge thought protecting a criminal was more important than protecting innocent kids. These are not mere statistics. They are our neighbors. Our families. Real Americans betrayed by judges who care more about criminals than citizens.
And Judge Lin is not the only one playing this dangerous game. The Department of Justice has filed a complaint against Judge James Boasberg. He has been blocking deportations too. Notice a pattern? These are all communist/globalist appointees turning courtrooms into criminal protection schemes.
NOTE: The propaganda media called Reyes a “beloved Bay Area tattoo artist.” (Yeah, beloved by whom exactly?) They called him an “immigrant rights advocate.” They buried the part about attempted murder. And that year-and-a-half he spent in ICE detention. This whitewashing of violent criminals is standard practice for the left. They see every deportation as some tragedy. What about the tragedy of American families living in fear?
MORE: When firefighters had to give Reyes Narcan and cops described him as “combative and altered,” guess who paid? We the People did. Our tax dollars covered his medical care. His arrest. His mental health evaluation. Every penny spent on this criminal is money stolen from our kids’ schools. From fixing our roads. From helping actual Americans in need.
These judges are compromised, i.e., bribed, threatened, or blackmailed. They do not belong on the bench. Judge Lin’s message is crystal clear:
[V]iolent criminal immigrants matter more than American children.
This twisted joke of justice cannot stand. How many more toddlers need to face carjackers? How many more grandmothers have to fight off attackers at gas stations? Each victim of these protected criminals—their suffering has been caused by these activist judges.
Americans must demand judges who follow the law. Not rewrite it. Our children’s lives depend on it. Our beloved country’s future depends on it.
