Oh, this is rich. Kamala Harris — yes, that Kamala Harris, the one whose 2024 presidential campaign collapsed faster than a wet cardboard box — is releasing a book. The title? 107 DAYS. Which, fittingly, is about how long her campaign survived before getting mercy-killed. It’s being billed as a “behind-the-scenes look” at what is easily one of the most spectacular political implosions in modern history.
And how did she announce it? In peak Kamala fashion, of course. On X, she wrote:
What the world saw on the campaign trail was only part of the story.
My new book is a behind-the-scenes look at my experience leading the shortest presidential campaign in modern history.
107 Days is out on September 23. I can’t wait for you to read it: https://t.co/G4bkeZB4NZ pic.twitter.com/taUof0L4hs

Oh, Kamala. I can already feel the word salads coming. And speaking of which, Trump impersonator Shawn Farash delivered the perfect response: “You wrote a book? You couldn’t make it through a speech without the teleprompter, but you want people to believe you wrote a book?” Brutal. Accurate.

Look, Simon & Schuster is trying their best to sell this thing. CEO Jonathan Karp called it “one of the best works of political nonfiction Simon & Schuster has ever published” and claimed it’s packed with “surprising and revealing insights.” Translation: Please, please buy this. But you’ll notice he conveniently avoided specifics — like whether Harris actually dishes on Joe Biden’s fitness for office or takes any responsibility for her disastrous run. (Spoiler: Don’t hold your breath.)
And Kamala? She’s out here saying she’s spent “a lot of time reflecting” on those 107 days and wants to share “what it will take to move forward.” Sure, because nothing screams “political comeback” like admitting your campaign flamed out in record time. Raise your hand if you think Kamala actually learned anything from that experience. Yeah — me neither.

But the PR tour doesn’t end with a press release. Harris will also appear on Late Night with Stephen Colbert Thursday. So yes, we’re getting the book pitch, the Trump bashing, and probably some commiserating with Colbert about how unfair it is his show got canned for hemorrhaging cash.
