Legendary actor Harrison Ford is being deservedly dragged for his hypocrisy over decrying the very system that made him filthy rich to take a shot at President Donald J. Trump.
In a new profile for showbiz news outlet Variety, Ford reflects on his half-century on the big screen and some of his most memorable roles, but as is always the case with leftists, the topic turned to politics and Trump.
When asked about where he thinks America is six months into Trump’s presidency, the actor suggested that the economy has become more unfair to many since the nation’s 47th president took office.
Harrison Ford on Trump’s presidency and the current state of the U.S.:
“In politics and in life, you don’t always get what you want, but you get what you get and you don’t get upset. They teach us that in kindergarten, but they also teach you to fight for what you think is… pic.twitter.com/nGbsY1jY07

“In politics and in life, you don’t always get what you want, but you get what you get and you don’t get upset. They teach us that in kindergarten, but they also teach you to fight for what you think is right,” Ford responded.
“Now, because we’ve been disaggregated in this way, we’re having a hard time finding commonality. But if you look at the economy, you’ll figure out where the commonality is — it’s where it always was: Rich get richer, and poor get poorer. And that ain’t exactly right,” he added.
When queried by an X user, Grok illuminated some important context that Ford has managed to get a lot richer from the very system that he’s denouncing.
Harrison Ford’s estimated net worth in 2025 is $300 million.
In 2015: ~$190 million.
In 2005: ~$90 million.
In 1995: ~$40 million.
(Estimates from sources like Celebrity Net Worth and Money Nation; actual figures vary and are not publicly verified.)

Other X users were quick to also point out that Ford should be the last one bellyaching about economic unfairness, and is a colossal hypocrite for doing so.
I probably wouldn’t wear a tuxedo for a photoshoot featuring my take on income inequality, especially when people are only one Google search away from learning that “Kingdom of the Crystal Skull” alone netted me a cool ~$65,000,000. https://t.co/i7lnNPtD6G

I don’t want to hear his opinion on the “rich are getting richer while the poor are getting poorer.”— Milenka~ (@MilenaAmit) July 30, 2025
When he starts redistributing his own wealth I’ll take him seriously.

What is it about actors that makes them mostly socialists despite being incredibly rich?
— ApoStructura (@ApoStructura) July 30, 2025
A guy who made TENS OF MILLIONS OF DOLLARS is criticizing the system that allowed him to get rich?
Funny how he never said anything when the Democrats were pushing the economy into the shitter, but now that things are getting better, he’s upset?
Ford, you are such a let down

He can give his away at any time.
I fucking hate Hollywood hypocrites. Don’t you dare criticize me for wanting a nice house in a safe neighborhood when you’re retreating to your compound in Montana.

Nobody is stopping him from giving all of his money to a bunch of poor people and then being equal.

A celebrity who lives in fantasy world talking about commonality. Such pricks. I used to love Harrison.

Nice of him to undo the bowtie on his tuxedo before making this powerful statement about income inequality.

In addition to iconic characters Indiana Jones and Han Solo, the 83-year-old actor has also played a president or two over his storied career, and he’s no fan of the man currently sitting in the Oval Office.
One of his presidential portrayals was in the racial reimagining of Captain America as a black man in Marvel’s “Captain America: Brave New World,” in which Ford played President Thaddeus Ross, who turns into the Red Hulk.

“What did it take? It took not caring. It took being an idiot for money, which I’ve done before,” Ford quipped of the role. “I don’t mean to disparage it.”
Last year, Ford joined his fellow Tinseltown multi-millionaires in backing doomed Democrat presidential candidate Kamala Harris, cutting a pair of cringeworthy ads warning of the dangers of a second Trump presidency.
“He spent four years turning us against each other while embracing dictators and tyrants around the world. That’s not who we are. We don’t need to make America great again. Come on. We are great. All we need is to work together again. All we need is a president who works for all of us again,” Ford said in one of the ads.
For what it’s worth, all of Hollywood’s money couldn’t prevent the American people from overwhelmingly electing Trump over their favorite candidate, an avatar of the elite.
