We are generally pretty serious here, but this is a report that should illicit a nice chuckle by the time you are done reading it.
When Kai Trump spoke at the RNC, she took the country by storm. All of a sudden, she was a hot topic in the media, seeing national profiles of her in major publications, which surely helped her land some deals as an incoming collegiate athlete.
Well, Kai just cashed in, with a little dig against grandpa in the process.
The Speech
I really don’t enjoy the national conventions, but even I had to admit that putting Kai Trump on stage, the daughter of Donald Trump Jr., was genius.
You see, Democrats and the media love to portray Trump as a monster, the bad orange man, as well as hitting him with every “ist” and “ic” label they can muster.
Yet, Kai spoke of him in a far different light at the Republican National Convention, stating, “To me, he’s just a normal grandpa.
“He gives us candy and soda when our parents aren’t looking. He always wants to know how we’re doing in school.”
National Scene
Those of us who write or read about politics every day knew who Kai was, but most of the general public was clueless about who this cute teenager humanizing the bad orange man was.
All of a sudden, she started getting requests for national interviews, and her social media profiles started to blow up.
Kai helped her grandfather again when she was asked about the bond she has with the president over the game of golf, stating, “He taught me to just keep on working at it, and, honestly, I’ve gotten a lot better in past years with golf, but, he really just [taught me to keep] trying to keep on fighting and keep on practicing and whatnot.
“And I love playing golf… it’s something that we share, a special bond together.”
Taking Her Shot
Kai is playing golf for the University of Miami, and it was no shock to see companies offering her some rather lucrative NIL deals, which included Accelerator Active Energy Drink.
Her deal with the drink company has not yet been disclosed, but based on her NIL Valuation, it is probably in the $1 million range, not too bad for a teenage athlete.
With that kind of money, she had no problem taking a shot at the president and his favorite drink, Diet Coke, in her first commercial. In the ad, after crushing a drive, she gets back into her cart, where a Diet Coke and a can of Accelerator are sitting.
Kai chooses the Accelerator, taking a sip and stating, “Sorry, Grandpa.” I would say she is off to a great start, and I am sure her grandfather will love the ad.
